Marcella Lee, weekend anchor at CBS News, was the guest emcee at the North County Philanthropy Council Awards Luncheon held at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido on October 28th. Cheryl McGlocklin, President Elect, was chosen by members of ALNC to represent the chapter. One hundred and forty-four volunteers were honored by each of their non-profits organizations. Ten members of our orgainzation attended the ceremony. Cheryl said," Being Marketing Chairperson for ALNC during the past two years gave me the amazing opportunity to participate in events where I photographed the joy on hundreds of children's faces as they chose clothing, shoes, books, jackets and blankets, and on the faces of high school seniors who received $2,500 scholarships. I felt I received a gift with each smile."
