ALNC members and friends had a great time at our fundraising/social event. Over 50 people attended and we raised $266.00 which will go toward our Emergency Clothing Program.

Assistance League of North Coast (ALNC) is offering certified elementary and middle school teachers in public schools in Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Vista the opportunity to apply for grants in an amount up to $500. These funds are to be used for providing enrichment activities, improving the educational process and supporting educational excursions. SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28 To apply, please mail your submission (hardcopy, typewritten only) to:LynnSmith, Teacher Grant Program, Assistance League of North Coast,1816F Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside , CA 92054 Your submission should address all the following requirements: 1. Your name, school, school phone number, grade level, email address, best contact phone number, project title, and grant amount requested. 2. A detailed, clear description of your project/program, list of objectives to be achieved, how they will be implemented; and how the educational process will benefit. 3. Itemized cost of the project/program. 4. The number of students by grade level that will benefit. 5. Explain in detail how you will monitor the project/program and evaluate and document results. 6. Upon completion of your project, submit a letter to ALNC describing how the benefits of your project/program made a difference in your classroom, in students, and/or in your school. Please note: requests for iPads/tablets or similar electronic devices and/or computers will NOT be considered; requests from clubs, after school programs, or summer programs will NOT be accepted. All submissions must be received by October 28, 2022. Funds will be awarded to grant recipients by the end of November, 2022.
