What do kids do when their home alone?

Our members visit fourth grade classes in Carlsbad, Vista and Oceanside public schools to make a 45-minute presentation, which includes a video and discussion about personal safety. Each child receives a book of activities and discussion topics which they can take home to share with their parents.The presentation focuses on what to do in case of an emergency when home alone; as well as an awareness of strangers, and how children can stay safe when home or alone in the community.
