This program is designed to help children in an emergency – such as having no home or clothes due to a fire or other disaster. Requests for assistance that cannot be met by our other programs may be fulfilled by this Community Assistance program.

Through Community Assistance we helped fund a new computer lab at San Luis Rey Elementary School. Because of budget cuts and the high cost of establishing a computer lab, the school was struggling to give its students a necessary opportunity to learn how to become technology comfortable. Many of the students at this school come from low income homes and do not have access to computers.
